Coming off the brand’s most successful year in terms of sales, to the tune of $7.8 billion, New Balance is poised to keep this positive energy going in 2025. There are plans for a variety of new silhouettes to hit the market, from the viz-tech-heavy New Balance 2000 to the ‘70s-inspired New Balance 471. Alongside these two is a new “premium classic” from the brand, the New Balance 2010, which has been previewed in a handful of colorways, such as the upcoming Rich Paul and Kith collabs and inline variants like the Black, Black Ice, and Brown Olive. Adding to this is a new Dockside Indigo rendition.
Just like the aforementioned Brown Olive pair, the new 99X-inspired sneaker comes with an open-spaced mesh base layer and premium suede overlays. On the base is an aqua-green hue, spanning across the entire length of the upper, while olive-shaded suede panels cover the mudguard, midfoot, and heel overlays. Like classic 99X models, toebox and collar overlays come in a contrasting nubuck finish, and this particular pair chose a dark grey.
